Did you know, it costs around £10,000 a year for us to keep our boats afloat, and our equipment and boathouse rescue-ready?
This amount doesn’t include anything for personnel – everyone here volunteers their time and energy.
Because we have to keep one year’s costs in the accounts at any given time, when we need a major item of equipment or a larger than usual maintenance or running costs arise, we have to raise the money to cover this separately.
As we are an independent charity, this means fundraising is as on-going for us as our other activities, such as our weekly training and regular community water safety support.
If you’d like to help us out, there are a few different ways of doing so.
We now have a donate button for making online donations through Give as you Live, if you would like to help us that way.
Alternatively, please click the titles on any of the information boxes below, to find out more about helping us raise funds.
If you can’t make a donation at this time that’s no problem, you could still support us by:
* Sharing our social media and GiveAsYouLive links.
* Shopping online through platforms which make donations to us – and sharing the links with friends.
* Shopping in local shops which support us – Asda St. Leonards, Co-op Winchelsea Beach & Ore Village.
* Staying in touch with us.
All support is much appreciated by Pett Level Independent Rescue Boat.
Thank you so much.
