Supporting our community
Our volunteers commit their time to train in a variety of roles to ensure we are always ready to serve our local coastline.
Our investment in training, equipment, team-work and interactions with other services is essential to ensure we are prepared and equipped to deal with all potential situations.
We are tasked to lead or assist in a wide ranging of ‘shouts’, both at sea and on land. We also help within the community, to provide support for incidents which require help from our volunteers. This may be first aid support, water safety support, education and beach-awareness talks or checking on others’ safety (sometimes birds, wildlife and dogs, as well as people).
High tide beach launch in 2021 for a SHOUT!
Please note that this is an archive, not a gallery. Where we may have a photo of the boat being launched, or of our volunteers or vehicles in action in relation to an incident, then we will include it. For the most part though, it’s not appropriate to have an image of a shout or incident. In these cases we will just show a photo of our flag, our First Aid sign or a general interest image of our boat being launched.
