As a charity and a group of volunteers, our mission is to prevent harm along the local coastline and waterways. With prevention clearly at the heart of what we do, we’re pleased to be involved with the latest Royal Life Saving Society UK’s latest Drowning Prevention Week.

The featured image above, courtesy of RLSS-UK, shows exactly why it’s so important to get additional safety and prevention messages out there. So, as well as contributing RLSS information and links to resources to the local Rye News, some of our volunteers have been contributing their thoughts about drowning prevention at a local level.

These are being shared across our social media during #DrowningPreventionWeek. However, as reducing risk at local beaches and waterways is a 52 week-a-year campaign for our volunteers, these assets can also be copied, shared and used from here too.

So, whatever the time of year, if you are giving a beach safety talk or want to share some of this info with anyone visiting the local beaches, please feel free to use and share these images at any time (just right-click and Save Image As).

If you would like to support us, your donation will help us assist those in danger on our local coastline.

Thank you so much, from the volunteers at Pett Level Independent Rescue Boat.
