Amazon are now making donations when you Smile at us!

Did you know, if you’re shopping online with Amazon, some of what you pay could be donated to Pett Level Independent Rescue Boat?

The process is easy to set up and, once you’ve completed the set up phase, 0.5% of the net purchase price (excluding shipping fees, VAT and returns) of eligible products will be donated to us. This donation is made by Amazon once items are paid for, so there’s no extra to pay when you’re buying your items. However, it does have a very positive effect on our fundraising efforts.

The aim of this page is to support you with the set up phase so you know how to do it and where to find us, in order to ensure your donation goes where you want it to!

First, make sure you’re smiling

A key thing is that from now on you’d be using smile.amazon.co.uk. It’s easy to sign up from there, or you can go to your usual Amazon.co.uk account and sign up to smile from there.

Then, once you’re in Smile

1. 1. Go to Your Account from the navigation at the top of any page.
   2. Select the option to Choose Your Charity or Change Your Charity, depending whether you already shop through smile.amazon with a chosen charity in mind.
   3. To start making your purchases achieve Amazon donations for us, please type in Pett Level Independent Rescue Boat Assn.

The screen shot below shows this in action. It’s important to include all elements of the title, including the . at the end of the name, otherwise it can be hard to find us!
